Jean Blackstock is known and respected for her ability to help global businesses accelerate their performance and achieve their strategic goals by optimizing their structures, capabilities, and culture.
With more than 30 years of organizational development experience, she is the founder and CEO of JBC. Since 2005, she has been a trusted adviser to business leaders in organizations across Africa, Asia Pacific, the Americas, Middle East and Europe. Prior to founding JBC, Jean had a global career within the private sector rising to senior positions in PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Diageo, Cable and Wireless and Digicel.
Jean advises senior leaders through organizational change programs, developing new strategies and innovative approaches to tackle complex people and workforce challenges.
Her strengths lie in the ability to advise and partner with C-Suite executives and boards of trustees, translating strategic aims into customized solutions. She’s worked extensively across the commercial, international development, and non-profit sectors.
She is a lecturer and trainer in workforce planning, organization design, and organization development.
Jean holds a Masters in Manpower Studies from the University of Westminster and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Jean is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD), Member of the Organization Design Community and European Organization Design Forum and a Member of the Workforce Planning Institute.
